Visit us at stand L28 to find out more about our development of robotics, unmanned systems, and special tactical equipment for maritime applications. Some of our latest technologies include:
- The V-Wing towed underwater depressor product line provides steady, reliable, and economical capabilities for commercial, research and reconnaissance operations.
- The BIOSwimmer is a biologically-inspired unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) with broad commercial and homeland security applications that include inspecting ships, securing ports, and conducting marine maintenance operations.
- The MASED (Multipurpose Above Surface/Below Surface Expendable Dropsonde) is designed to enhance hurricane forecasting by collecting readings from inside the storm area to improve modeling for hurricane intensity and trajectory over water.
Additionally, Andrew Keefe, lead engineer and project manager at Boston Engineering, will be presenting on “Designing an Expendable Multi-Profile Dropsonde for Hurricane Research.” The session will take place on Tuesday, February 26 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in Room 33BC.
