Boston Engineering featured in Mass High Tech Article on Defense Industry Budget Cuts

Boston Engineering's VP/CTO, Mark Smithers interviewed in Mass High Tech article: NE Defense Industry Cautious About Looming Budget Cuts

Companies throughout New England which rely on military spending are anxiously awaiting the government’s next move in the looming Department of Defense (DoD) budget sequestration cuts.

The black cloud looming over defense contractors is the result of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan winding down, and Congress failing to address automatic across-the-board federal budget cuts. What does all this mean for manufacturers and service providers with defense-related contracts? No one’s really sure. Keep Reading
