Dave Jacobs plays an integral role advancing new medical devices capabilities for Boston Engineering clients. Mr. Jacobs joined Boston Engineering in 2014 and expanded the firm’s Medical Devices practice. In 2018, Mr. Jacobs transitioned to the role of senior medical devices consultant where he continues to work closely with the company’s medical clients.
Previously, Dave served as chief operating officer at Scion Medical Technologies, a medical device developer and manufacturer with locations in the US and China. Prior to Scion Medical, he was the vice president of operations at Interlace Medical, a medical device start-up acquired by Hologic in 2011.
Earlier, Dave was the vice president of engineering and operations at Intact Medical, and the director of operations at ACT Medical. Dave also contributed significant experience managing rapidly growing technology-based companies that include MDI, NetSilicon, and MPM. Dave also served in executive roles for larger companies such as Barry Wright and Eaton Corporation, a Fortune 100 company. Dave holds a BSME from Northeastern University and an MBA from Bentley University.
