Bill Buckley manages and strengthens quality processes that underpin Boston Engineering’s ability to deliver advanced product design and engineering capabilities. In addition to overseeing Boston Engineering’s ISO-certified quality system, Bill also reviews all client projects.
His quality management background spans commercial operations, medical device product development, and manufacturing. And, Bill applies product development best practices throughout the product development lifecycle, including: corrective and preventative action (CAPA), design failure mode and analysis (DFMEA), and lean manufacturing. His strong practical knowledge of standards includes ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14971, ISO 14001, EHS Management System, and FDA 21 CFR part 820.
Previously, Bill oversaw product quality for contract manufacturing process validation at Bose Corporation, a leader in audio product innovation. And, at a product development consulting firm, Bill led the development of quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures, and controls. He also served as quality systems manager at Intel Corporation, where he directed and managed multi-plant quality efforts.
Bill is a certified ISO Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 (product development), ISO 13485 (medical device development), and ISO 14001 (environmental management).
