Feb. 7, 2023

President and Co-Founder Bob TreiberWaltham, MA — Product design and engineering consulting firm Boston Engineering is proud to announce that company President and Co-Founder Bob Treiber will serve as Chair of the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Board of Trustees for their 2023 term.

NSBA is a national organization based in Washington, D.C. focused on small business advocacy at the federal level. Its expertise includes a government affairs team representing industry in all 50 states.

“I look forward to ensuring that the needs of small business are top-of-mind for policymakers in D.C.,” says Mr. Treiber. “I am confident that small business can be a shining example for lawmakers on how pragmatism and nonpartisanship can get the job done.”

Mr. Treiber brings many years of small business experience to his role, including nearly three decades managing Boston Engineering, and nearly 10 years on the NBSA Board of Trustees.

“Bob’s drive to examine what we do and how we do it has helped NSBA grow and adapt, and his leadership will be particularly well-suited as we continue to move past the pandemic in 2023,” according to NSBA President Todd McCracken.

Mr. Treiber’s role as chairman will be in working with board members to ensure that the over 65,000 NSBA members’ voices are heard. “This is what makes organizations like NSBA so important—not just to me and the millions of other small-business owners like me, but for future business owners and entrepreneurs,” stated Treiber.
